I have always enjoyed singing for fun at home and have always been a huge Elvis fan. I consider seeing Elvis on June 27th, 1973, in Cincinnati, Ohio as one of the biggest thrills of my life!

I had never seen an ETA (Elvis Tribute Artist) perform. My wife, Suzy, and I went to a contest in June of 2003 as spectators. We had the pleasure of seeing about 30 different ETA’s. My wife looked at me and said you need to do this. At that point I was hooked and will never look back.

I performed my first Elvis Tribute act in December 2003, at the Cullman Moose Lodge, and have repeated that performance several times since. I have performed at Relay for Life in Cullman and Oneonta, Alabama, as well as at schools, private parties, birthday parties, charity events, night clubs, resorts, family reunions and even singing telegrams. I have also stared as Elvis in “Elvis Finds Christmas” at Sach's Art Center, Cullman, Alabama, 2004 & 2005. I first competed in the "Elvis in Dixieland" contest in Birmingham, Alabama, June of 2004, and then went on to the "Big E Festival" later that year, then again, in 2005 & 2006. It was also my pleasure to be a part of the Elvis Fantasy Fest benefit for the special Olympics in Portage Indiana this year.

My favorite Elvis songs are "Trilogy" and "Trouble" :)

I always say, "We all know there was only one Elvis, but I have a lot of fun doing my tribute to The King and I hope y’all enjoy the show."

Cullman County resident, Walter Busby, moved to Cullman with his family in 1987, in order to raise his children in a better community. Walter continues to live here with his wife, three kids, and grandchildren.
